Joker/NetEase is firing real artists who work on the games, not their community fanartists. You can make fanart as much as you want, but talented artists are losing their jobs. Please highlight THEIR work, what you love about it, and why you want to keep seeing it in its most human form

I get community outreach, and a celebration of real art, but it does rub me the wrong way how quickly some are eager to jump on this to plug themselves and their comms and whatnot

the IDV community isn’t mad about the use of AI because they’re just a bunch of haters who despise the game, they’re mad BECAUSE they love and care about the game

It’s a game with great art direction, beautiful visuals and characters, and the fans love it

nobody who cares about the art design of the game would want to see it outsourced to or “upscaled” by ai because NetEase execs can’t be bothered to pay their out-of-house renderers or whatever.

They keep getting drunk and being loud as fuck, having mini parties in their room and slamming into shit and keeping the bathroom locked for HOURS LIKE ACTUAL HOURS because they have extra friends in there showering and getting all dolled up to go out

Yes it’s easy to press skip but like when the majority of prompts are either song lyrics or references to shit only three people fucking understand, it starts getting really annoying to keep hitting the skip button

You’re allowed to be annoyed that ai users didn’t let the prompt find its audience but posting about it… is so… mmm…
