1. Recommend a fic that lives in your brain rent free. recently i've been thinking about The Garden of Proserpine by solomonara quite a bit. i could sing solo's praises morning, noon, and night- and i will right now too, actually. she's a stunningly skilled writer and has been a huge positive influence on both my art and life. her fics are always so well thought out and clever and beautiful. it's been a while since i've read this one, i couldn't even tell you what it's about at the top of my head anymore but the garden dream sequence is something i think of exceedingly often:

Dick was wearing faded, nearly white jeans along with the white t-shirt and all of it was smeared with filthy handprints. Jason's hands flew away from Dick. "I shouldn't have touched you."

11. Recommend a fic you think is a hidden gem/deserves more reads. Touch Starved by CaptainDeadShips. look okay i know this one was literally written for me but like. it has criminally too few kudos, especially for a shorter fic. it's arkhamverse jaydick, which i'm always ravenous for, and it's just. fucking hilarious. and angsty. i love it. please go read it!!

4. Recommend a fic that is over 50,000 words. most of my bookmarked 50k+ fics are spn?????? which surprised me somehow. anyway i did NOT pick one of those. here, have a cyberpunk 2077 fic instead: Fortune's Fate by arcadiumsquire. it's a fun time travel/time loop fix-it fic!

He drops the smoke to the asphalt and crushes it under his boot before he looks back up at her and responds coolly, “You say you know him. Know me. But I got tells, V. You just aren’t fuckin’ reading ‘em at all.” V’s gaze bores into him like she is trying to solve a riddle.

12. Recommend a fic that formed or changed your opinion on something (characterization, backstory, relationship, etc.) okay this was really hard, like i just didn't know which fics really did anything for me like that. but i think. the lone jayvik fic i have fits the bill: Origin of Sickness by whiskeyuncle. this is the only characterization of viktor i'm interested in reading, it's so delicious.
