Gaza has changed us forever. The murder today of a Minneapolis mother by an ice agent is a prime example of the imperial boomerang, colonial violence coming home. Violence became normalized once the genocide started to be live-streamed. If you think Palestine will never impact you, it will, and we saw this today.
What can you do? Most people might recommend contacting representatives or voting but we cannot destroy a system by working within it. As Audre Lorde said “The master’s tools will never will never dismantle the master’s house.”
We need to organize within our communities, and this can start by joining your public library, getting involved with local organizations, and within local government. Learning new skills like gardening and knitting seem silly but are useful in community building and not being fully reliant on corporations.
We will not fix this from behind our screens, we quite literally need to go outside and touch grass.
You guys are actually crazy
What the fuck? US Cops have been murdering civilians for years. This isn't new.
This has zero to do with Gaza.
Nada. Zilch. None.
Wikipedia has a whole list of US cops killing unarmed civilians. Here are some highlights you may have heard of:
May 16, 2010, Aiyana Jones, aged 7
March 21, 2012, Rekia Boyd, 22
July 17, 2014, Eric Garner, 43
August 5, 2014, John Crawford III, 22
August 29, 2014, Michael Brown, 18
November 22, 2014, Tamir Rice, 12
April 12, 2015, Freddie Gray, 25
March 18, 2018, Stephon Clark, 22
August 24, 2019, Elijah McClain, 23
There are so many more but my heart hurts enough, so I'm leaving that list as it is.
LEOs have been doing this for decades. Yes, in broad daylight. Yes, while filmed. This has nothing to do with Gaza because it's a problem that predates the war by decades.
Comparing this deep seated evil in the US justice system to a war abroad is not only ignorant, it's offensive. It minimizes the deaths of all these people who were murdered by cops because of the cops' racism and poor training. It belittles and trivializes the murders of all these unarmed people. You are blaming an entirely separate situation an ocean away for the horrors here.
How dare you try to shove Gaza into Renee Nicole Good's death? She was a human being. She was a mother who now has an orphaned child. The people of Gaza are real human beings. They are actual people, struggling to survive bombardment, not a rhetorical device. Their suffering is real. They don't exist so you can make these ridiculous comparisons.
If you have any decency in you, please delete this post. It is incredibly offensive and minimizes the horror in Gaza and the horror in the US.
Not you getting defensive that OP dared to compare the death of a white woman to the death of brown people. Do not know that the IDF and ICE literally train together? That the surveillance technology tested on Palestinians comes back home to US to hunt Americans as well? The list goes on. The struggle is connected.

No see what Op means to say is “da joos killed Tamir Rice and white cops dindu nothin”

Oh yes using a blaccent makes you seem so moral and normal and not at all like a racist white supremacist freak 🤩🤩🤩
the blaccent is how Op sounds which is how white supremacists mock black women
unlike the islamic terrorist in your main’s pfp
You have no friends or followers so I assume this is your sock account Gulabi-Gal
So what you were doing wasnt a blaccent? Righttttt. And no im her girlfriend so yeah…. Islamic Terrorist? I prefer the term Jihadist ❤️
Not a white person who’s a genocide supporter telling POC that they are white supremacists???

They don't care about Gaza. They don't care about Palestinians. They don't care about Renee Good. They just hate Jews and want someone accessible to blame rather than the GOP and US LEOs. We're all toys to them.
Imagine people are getting shot and snatched in the streets, there is an ongoing genocide, and you somehow make it about you feeling targeted. People are dying Kim
Imagine believing that there isn’t bipartisan support for ICE.
You are obsessed with a fictional resistance but are blind to real ones. YOU don’t care about Gaza, Palestinians, or Renee Good. Sitting comfortably making tragedy about yourself.

‘Love is an organic thing. It rots and softens.’
Words by Clementine Von Radics
If there is a hell, I hope Bret Stephens is damned to the lowest circle.
Well I was proven correct once again bc this man decided to write an article saying that there isn’t a genocide in Gaza. He is directly responsible for manufacturing consent for genocide and should be held responsible for his role in the annihilation of Palestinians.
Iran does not have nuclear weapons. If Iran did have nuclear weapons we wouldn’t have the president of the United States ordering the people of Tehran to evacuate.
Why?
Because of mutually assured destruction. The United States would not be able to threaten the Iranian people and airstrike them because of the fear of a nuclear attack. It’s the same reason why the US would not be able to say the same to a country that does have nuclear weapons, like Russia or India or North Korea.
This rhetoric is clearly just manufacturing consent to go to war with Iran, and is exactly like the language used before the invasion of Iraq.
Iran holds the unique position of being the only main opposition against Israel, and funder of groups fighting against Israel like the Ansarallah movement and Hezbollah. It is precisely because of this that the United States wants so desperately to overthrow the Iranian government.
So the US just bombed Iran, even though they literally do not have nuclear weapons. This is extremely dangerous and a direct consequence of the genocide of Palestinians. Middle Eastern and Muslim people have been so dehumanized that it has led to the bombing of the Iranian people. This is just sick and it disgusts me to watch mainstream media be in support of this and actively manufacturing consent for further escalation. The people of the Middle East deserve to be free from western imperialism.
If you’re a liberal and/or Democrat who is upset that “Trump didn’t get congressional approval” to bomb Iran, I fear you’ve lost the plot. Who cares if he didn’t follow procedure?? Focus on the real issue which is fact that he entered a war with Iran. Stop getting caught up in procedures and rules and grow some fucking empathy. Too many of you are more concerned with ‘following the rules’ than recognizing war crimes and the implications of this bombing. People are getting killed, okay? Learn to humanize them instead of your stupid ‘gotcha’ moment.
If I see one more American center themself in this recent bombing in Iran I’m going to lose it. People are getting killed in the Middle East and all you can do is think about yourself.
Also so many of the bitches saying this are the some ones who haven’t said shit on Palestine. Like, bitch why do you think we’re in this whole situation. I cannot believe this many people are so morally bankrupt.
It’s fine to be anxious about this, but recognize your fucking privilege.

Hana-Rawhiti Kareariki Maipi-Clarke, the youngest MP in Aotearoa, starts a haka to protest the first vote on a bill reinterpreting the 1840 Treaty of Waitangi
Hey! Maybe Democrats should have listened to those people that voted uncommitted in the election. Just a thought.
Also, I just know there are liberals that going to immediately attack Arab and Muslim people. Sorry your status quo got disturbed, I wonder what it’s like for the people of Palestine undergoing genocide.
