One day, Will films himself shirtless to show Hannibal some bruises which he had gained from tripping over Winston and rolling down the stairs. His intention is to ask whether they look *medically concerning*. Hannibal suggests he should have a look at them in real life and Will can only guess his eyes are glued to the screen with excitement.

To return the favor, a few days later, Hannibal sends Will a video of a nasty stab wound on his forearm, gained from one of Hannibal's nightly trips. Will is so fixated on the blue veins crossing underneath the pale skin that the blood doesn't even take him aback. He shortly says "you should do something about that". They keep teasing each other back and forth, pushing boundaries, always revealing a little bit more.

It's one day when he is in an FBI meeting when Hannibal sends him a shirtless video of himself. Will is so flabbergasted his whole nonchalance is broken in an instant and he almost drops the phone on the floor. He leaves Hannibal on read for two days, with no reaction.

When he finally replies, Hannibal has to pull up on the side of the road. It's Will. He's not wearing anything other than a towel around his middle. His hair and body are wet, clearly he'd just stepped out of the shower. The towel is purposefully dropped after a few seconds. Hannibal just watches the next video, listening to Will's moans.
