There's certainly a tone I'm starting to recognize and dislike when people discuss Louis this season (some of you need to have the word pimp taken away) but they're also missing that the way he interacts with Regina has more to do with his family than the fact that he used to be a brothel owner. He explicitly had to buy their love. He supported them financially while they sat in judgement of what they saw as his sins, and all the while they ignored the sinning that was paying for their upper middle class lifestyle. They saw him when convenient and made him invisible when not. No wonder he thinks money equals love.
