I think if it was just about the correct reporting angle more people would’ve been included. I’m actually pretty fascinated by the politics of what network people were and weren’t invited because both CBS morning and the Today Show have actually seemed a bit salty lol. There was no NBC representation even on the sports side which is interesting. GMA made a lot of sense because that is where she does so many announcements and has relationships with those people going back a long time, Robin has been interviewing her for 20 years at this point and Travis has mentioned Michael Strahan as a mentor of his. I think they invited a lot of people who they view as great business relationships or potential business relationships (hence why all the possible broadcasting teams Travis could land on were included).

She can look at her sales figures both for albums and tours to see she’s popular lol. I think it was more about bringing together everyone who had played a part even if it was smaller;about helping get them to where they are. A place where they could meet each other as equals and thrive with each other. Which is why you see some of the professional relationships invited I think; even those from when she was younger. And then cultivating more recent professional associations which is normal when you have a larger wedding. I think it was like a big thank you and celebration. Which they could afford to do since they had such a large space and budget.

I am praying for pics today because of that reason. I had having a normal day and no at 5pm I made a dumb mistake that coincidentally was followed by something else unrelated but that made my mistake worse and I could use a cheer up…

again, as we were discussing yesterday, Taylor is very easy to understand when you aren't projecting your own ideas on her. I feel Travis is similar. It's not that difficult to grasp that they weren't limited by budget, they wanted a huge party, they wanted anyone they've vibed with there along with the people they're close to. I just don't get why people are having such an issue with this and making up these odd theories like they're trying to be popular 😭

We also don’t know the extent of Taylor and Travis’ relationships with people. We don’t know how many times they’ve met people and we don’t know what interactions they found particularly meaningful. People act like she’s a character on a TV show they watch and it both dehumanises her and makes them believe they know everything.

it’s insane that when taylor first said on graham norton that she didn’t want to go through the process of deciding who’s close enough for an invite that everyone in comments was cheering and saying they would do the same if they had unlimited budget bc it’s one of the most stressful parts but NOWWWW when she enacted on that, now it’s suddenly a problem?

Do you ever feel like Taylor inviting all those people she doesn't know that well is like her not having fixed the middle school bullied experience she had. Like she wants all the cool kids to like her the celebrities being that in this instance to fill that not being accepted hole she seems to still have. People have said this it about the girl squad and now with this s guest list I think it even more now

I guess we will never know the people they invited that didn’t show up (except for Charles Barkley who thought it was weird he was invited and didn’t go) but it seems like they wanted this wedding to be big and iconic and make it seem like they were super popular. It’s also why people Taylor doesn’t have a relationship/hasn’tbtalked to in years trashed the invite bc they just didn’t think it was believable they were invited.

and honestly my favourite thing about attending weddings is meeting new people, mingling, getting to know the people the couple that i care about knows and love.

So you don't think it's weird baby spice going even though she met her once. People went for clout them winding down their window going in and posting there outfits on social media after, when if they didn't want to be seen there were things in place so they didn't have to be

OR maybe they invited people the love, people that’s helped them in their career, people they respect, people they look up to etc. relationships/friendships comes in many shapes and forms and they clearly wanted as many of the people they care about one way or another there as possible.
