he used to go thrift shopping with may. she never saw a piece of furniture that she didn’t “see potential” in. (this extended to people. to places. she was always so generous. her bleeding heart. her moral mission.) anyways. so while he grew up poor, he’s never lived in a home that wasn’t cozy with things.

he’s never felt so much discomfort as when he moved into his shitty apartment with nothing that couldn’t fit into a cardboard box.

currently reading: way too much.. thirst by john robins which is a beautiful and amazing and funny and really important book which everyone should read, a book on astrophysics by neil degrasse tyson that my friend lent to me, and a multitude of fanfiction

current obsession: my chemical romance it's my chemical romance sorry britcom fans i still love you but the fire in my heart for my chemical romance has been reignited in my teenage heart after seeing them live at wembley 2 nights in a row and being less than one meter away from mikey way.

currently working on: me and my friend are attempting to write a comic in the holidays but most of the work on that involves sitting and thinking about it and not doing anything. and a lot a lot a lot a lot of fanart. and some frerard fanfiction.. gulp

It’s short and easy, for most participants it takes 5 minutes or less.

After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a report summarising the main findings. Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like we’re part of a huge and diverse community.

An exhausted sigh from his loved one mixed with I'm sorry was enough to constrict his throat. Now he's able to swallow the stone down and whisper back it's alright.

Somedays the lab is a fortress. Somedays it's a mausoleum. Somedays he restricts entry. Somedays he shows it around carefully to Morgan.

The name still doesn't roll down in ease like it did from before. Tony switches it to kid, sometimes it becomes my kid, sometimes it turns to your brother.

But anything that points to who he really was - the genius going minute-a-mile in his lab, connecting theories fast and concocting solutions even faster, the hero who swung down the tall buildings in NYC and helped the elders with their groceries and fought crime with a motor mouth that never seems to stop, Tony avoids it like a plague.

The photo of them sits on the kitchen shelf. Pepper moved it from the living room after Tony ended up with glass splinters in his hand from the broken frame.

The world lost its hero.

the EDITH glasses which are made purposefully so you can see the eyes through the lenses, because tony is that certain that what peter has to show deserves to be seen. that people will look at peter’s eyes and see the same light in them that he does. that people will love peter the same way he loves peter.

even if peter had the EDITH glasses, i sincerely doubt he would wear them to public appearances. he’s terrified of everyone seeing just how scared he is; just how desperate he is.
