one thing abt deltarune ch5 (gay)
i realized this while scrolling thru the blellow tag: that because Yellow is cartoonishly tall, the fandom is cut off from its usual cliche of drawing the black man as a hulking giant predator + his white boyfriend as a helpless moe twink. i have seen some people Try but the height different is so extreme that its not possible
i wonder how much of that is by design, since toby is pretty aware of how fandoms can be, lol. giving us a character that is overtly a large black man and then mischaracterization-proofing him by making him fem and gay and having a giant stupid cowboy boyfriend seems like something he would do
looking forward 2 when the concept art drops and we see more about the design process of the flowers :) bc Green was definitely drawn by splendidland right. like thats the most Drawn By Splendidland character design ive ever seen (kindly, lovingly, every game should have a character designed by splendidland)
