the thing about babyland is that yes its weird and quirky but its been somewhat defanged. its now in xavier roberts' childhood mansion. everything is pristine. its Old South at its finest. that shit used to be an abandoned hospital deep in the mountains tho. it was creepy. you could feel the souls of those dead hanging in the air as each new cabbage patch was born. i miss it.

as a trans man, transfem jax is still important to me. you do not need to be the exact same “type” of trans to relate to a trans character. if anything her being transfem is MORE important to me because reflects her transness being based in repression, and as a repressed trans person, I need a character like that to relate to. I need a character who is also scared. also trying to forget about it. also embarrassed when viewed as their true self. if she was transmasc it would mean she had transitioned and was a-okay. I’m sick of a-okay. I’m not a-okay. I need to know I’m not alone.
