Mark Levin mad the interesting case yesterday that (most) Mexican Immigration laws should be copied, and stamped with "United States Immigration Law" and put up for a vote!
A novel idea! Mexico is very protective of their citizenship status and it's borders, and yet they argue that their citizens should be able to take advantage of the bounties of this country. After all, that will remove them as financial burdens from their state!

My Senator, Ted Cruz, went on Rush yesterday and exposed the Immigration Bill for what it really is: 1986 Amnesty 2.0
America will change, and not for the better, if this is bill is allowed to pass. Reagan was lied to in '86 about getting border security, and the American people are being lied to again.
THIS BILL CANNOT PASS! It will created a subclass of citizens that are the pawns of representatives that they can't elect. 75% of illegal immigration will still happen, and the country will further spiral into oblivion financially and culturally.
There are common sense methods to fixing this problem, but this bill, from what I've heard and read, doesn't fix anything.
When did criminals become worthy of putting on a pedestal above citizens? How can we "tear apart families" if they (illegal aliens) did that in the first place? When is living in a certain country a right?
This bill spits in the face of the Rule of Law.
