WHAT’S the right thing to say?? he has a point, but she doesn’t think agreeing will make him feel better. ❝ …if it helps, i’m not scared of you. ❞ maybe she was before, when all she had was his reputation and gossip. right now? he doesn’t seem all that scary. ❝ you’re intimidating, yes, but you haven’t done anything to make me afraid of you. ❞ now that she’s not relying on things she’s heard from others, he doesn’t seem like a bad person.  ❝ so not everyone is scared of you! i.. don’t know if that helps, but it’s a start, isn’t it? ❞

   A tightening feeling was in his throat, his out of view fist gripped tightly at    his jacket as his face became warm, a girl wasn’t afraid of him...? Now that’s    a first, no one besides those of his gang were not frightened by him, he came    off as such a big, scary, unapproachable guy, so he was more than surprised    when she told him that he wasn’t scaring her.

   He struggled to stop himself from yelling, if he were to raise his voice; he    surely would scare her away like he does with everyone else, a heavy    breath is taken before attempting to speak in a lower tone.

        “ my apologies, is apologizing not MANLY enough for you? you’re an imbecile and a menace and i DEMAND you apologize right this instant for breaking my tea cup. if you do not, i will have NO choice but to drop you to f rank, and i would believe you CHERISH your life more than that. “

“I-it… I-it certainly does…” He gazed over at the other with slight surprise at his willingness to wish to speak to him but agreed nonetheless that it was a shame that they didn’t talk all that much.

❝ WELL, if it’s any consolation i think you’re pretty cool! you do seem kind of intimidating though. ❞ speaking as someone who hasn’t interacted with him much. at the very least, she (kind of) prefers his foulmouthed language compared to iruma-san’s vulgar comments.

   Normally he’d be all over the place if a girl complimented him in any sort of way,    but right now he was too frustrated with himself to be flustered, he didn’t blame    anyone for being afraid of him, he was a big guy with an anger issue, the slightest    things set him off, he couldn’t help it... He just wanted to be better than this scary    biker man.
