♡ Baby Bunny Mae ♡

♡ I have been involuntarily age regressing throughout my life, and I age regress due to being autistic and having trauma. My agere is mainly for coping, healing (reclaming loss childhood), seeking comfort, and self-soothing (I don't have a caregiver).

Voluntary age regression is new to me and it is something I feel the need and want for~

♡ I am a permakid because I have a baseline of always feeling small, little, young, and childlike. There is no definitive age, just this feeling and overall sense of being young that has followed me throughout my life. It is something I spent most of my life hating about myself.

Only recently I have started to accept being a permakid, thanks to finally having the language to help me understand what I have been feeling all of my life (and discovering these communities ✨).

Even as a chronological teenager and adult, I have always felt out of place, younger, more vulnerable, and more “innocent” than those around me. I have often felt intimidated by, anxious around, and scared of adults because they feel so much more mature than me, and there have been times where I have involuntarily regressed around certain adults because of this.

I also have a deep need for care, love, support, guidance, reassurance, nurturance, and being spoken to and engaged with very gently and like a kid. As an autistic kid too because I notice how being autistic impacts how I experience and engage with everything, like how I play with toys.

♡ Lastly, I am a perma-agedre because I still remain connected to and still engage with childhood and childlike things outside of regression. I have always loved and been drawn to baby, toddler, and kid things, and they are a permanent part of my life, identity, and self-expression. They are part of my daily life (and being a permakid and a perma-agedre together is why I am not simply an adult who likes kid/childlike things).

And because it's outside of moments when I age regress, most of the time, I remain aware of my mature self while engaging with these things. Overall, I am innately childlike and feel ageless.

Extra: I use the word “mature” for myself instead of “adult” because I do not feel like or identify as an adult though I still have "adult" responsibilities and regardless of societal milestones reached or not.

For me, being mature and being an adult are different things. I know that I am chronologically/biologically an adult, but internally I do not experience myself as one. I experience myself as childlike while also having a mature self, and these exist within me simultaneously.

I also don't have interest in most things that are deemed as "adult". I don't like most adult-based/labeled activities, movies, or shows, and I don't like most of what is considered as "adult topics" especially NSFW things.
