Can't find hand sanitizer anywhere right now. So we made some. Aloe vera gel, everclear 190, and mint oil. You have to liquify the aloe gel completely, and the alcohol has to be at least 120 proof (60%) to kill Corona virus. [That glittery crap from the lotion store in your girl's purse won't cut it. That garbage is only like 10% alcohol.] So we scraped the gel from 3 large aloe leaves and put it in the blender with just a tiny bit of water. We turned it on the highest setting for a full minute to obliterate everything. Then, we turned it off, added about half of our 1.75 liter jug of everclear 190, and blended for another minute or so on high. Afterwards, we ran all that through a sieve to catch the pulp. After straining and disposing of the pulp, we added some food grade peppermint oil for scent. The texture and feel is actually quite nice. I was really surprised. Our final yield was 2 pint Mason jars and and this unused condiment bottle left over from my old bbq business. We have some mint tea bags soaking in the rest of the everclear in preparation for the next batch. I'll make a video a little later when I can find more bottles. Stay safe guys.
