pre relationship buddie getting back to the diaz house after a day at the zoo and chris disappearing into his room and theo falling asleep in the car so buck carries him inside and tucks him in on the couch and then, quiet, a beat, they're in the kitchen, finally just the two of them after such a long day, winding down and talking about something completely unimportant when eddie reaches over and gently pries the coffee cup out of buck's hands and sets it on the counter and kisses him and buck gets caught up in it for a moment, eyelids fluttering shut, and there's quiet again, a beat, until buck sobers up and pulls back and goes "what are you doing?" and eddie just blinks at him, says "i think it's pretty clear, buck" because honestly he thought that part was kind of self explanatory and he's been thinking about doing that for way too long, you see, has been waiting for the right moment and apparently there is no right moment because every time he thinks he's found one buck says something that makes him want to do it even more and he's been dropping hints for months and frankly he's tired of his suffering and buck just stares at him for a second and goes "but you're straight" and so, eddie tells him "if this is what straight is then i've never been straighter" and then adds "now do you have any more questions or can i get back to kissing you?" and well. buck has questions. so many, actually. but none of them seem particularly important right now.

new-parent buck exhausted and at the end of his rope, slumped on the couch with a sippy cup tilting out of one hand and neck craned back as he snores loudly in the broad daylight, the sound of laughter and singing echoing from down the hall to the cracked-open bathroom door where his big sister helps a little buckling get cleaned up and when buck wakes with a start, frantically looking around because he really didn't mean to pass out, it's to the sound of theo's voice jovially declaring, "you're the best, aunt maddie," and buck just has to exhale and close his eyes and think tell me about it, kid

Meanwhile Eddie is like it is only right that I suggest this, because I said it wasn’t weird and I can’t have Buck think I’m queerphobic. Any good friend would want their friend to feel better! That makes me feel better. That’s all, that’s the reason this feels so good, touching Buck like this! It’s because Buck’s relaxed and pain free! So what if I get to hold his dick to make that happen! and of course this gives them ample opportunity for some dorky medical roleplay. eddie in his fancywaiter voice: 'mr buckley? the doctor will see you now.' proceeds to give buck a handy that is pretend-clinical for approx 0.5 seconds and then the rest of the time they're beathing heavily inches apart staring into each other's eyes until buck comes so hard he sees the face of god, and then afterwards eddie clears his throat and puts the fancy waiter voice back on and goes 'okay mr buckley, you'll need to uh, book a follow-up appointment with the receptionist'

It's genuinely outrageous to me that we've not yet had a C plot about Buck and Eddie convincing Ravi to go in with them on flipping a house, but they're just as insane about it as Ravi feared, so he ends up noping out of there.
