My To-Oh Entrance Speech
Hello to you, detectives and Kira supporters alike!
Welcome to M’s (me) DN obsession blog! I’m a huge fan, especially after kinda-sorta rewatching over quarantine. So much so, that I’m writing a fic on it! (and detailing all of my comments about it in this blog, because there’s a looot of them).
It’s an OC fic, in which a girl-- someone from L’s past-- joins him in helping him catch Kira (in simple terms, of course). In all reality, I think Death Note is a hugely fascinating work full of really complex and rich plots, themes, and, of course, characters, so my fic is yet another exploration of my take on all the aspects of this amazing story (just like that of all of the many many talented fic writers that make the DN fic community).
The concept, in a nutshell, is to bring up a couple of things that could’ve happened if someone else had been there to believe L when he claimed Light was Kira; because I really really believe that had the task force taken the word of the World’s Best Detective ™ just a liiiittle more seriously, things could’ve gone very, very differently for L... (and Light, lol)
I’m trying to make it as feisty and bold and fun as I can, and have lots of ideas for it-- so, as I write, I’ll scream all about it in this blog, while also fuelling my love by sharing the super cool DN content here in Tumblr.
