Very good addition. When you're in the middle of the fog and things have been awful for a while it becomes difficult to recognize your own suffering— chronic pain patients continually underreport their own pain levels. It's only when you have a real standard for normal that you can recognize that something actually did Really Suck. It's good to take these moments and legitimize your own suffering, hear your own voice and let it be louder than the people who told you it wasn't that bad. It was! But you got through it before and you'll get through it again.
