we want to push buttons and pull levers, we want to hear mechanical works churning and clunking...we exist in a physical world and we like physical processes.

Touchscreens are spiritually damaging because they offer no feedback, you mash against the glass and there's no mechanical serenade, there's no acknowledgement at all. You can't even tell if the computer registered your touch.

These are spiritual rapists, these devices that take input but give nothing in response. We're physical beings who need devices to respond likewise. A click, a chunk, a light going off...something. But in our digital hell all interfaces are glass. There is no tactile feedback.

I fucking hate glass. I hate mashing my flesh against it, I hate that there is no confirmation my touch was even registered.

I want levers and servos and solenoids and so on, I want to feel shit, I want to know I activated a circuit. I hate our solid state future.
