PLEASE BE CAREFUL! Since these are the LAST copies of Beyond the Breach, make doubly sure your address is correct if you are ordering. I thankfully had only one lost book in the first batch that sold, so we're doing pretty good, but it could happen. And if it does happen, I don't have replacement copies to send out and will simply have to offer you a refund. Just be careful, and if you know you've had problems receiving things in the mail before, perhaps ask a friend to get it shipped to them. If you're making an international order and certain things have made shipments to you difficult, feel free to email me and let me know what I can do with your order to ensure it makes it to you.

If the listing says it is sold out, or the storefront is closed, then the books have all sold and that's it! I'll be making donations with the excess funds before the year is out. :)

Notice: If you are a Kickstarter back or ordered a book back when the first half of remaining copies went up for sale in July, and have NOT received your book, please send me a message! At this time, all books have been shipped, so if you don't have it, something is up and we need to fix that.

November 14th I will have the remainder of Beyond the Breach books up for sale. They will be $20 (+$10 international shipping), which is the same price from the Kickstarter for a single book. I’m aiming to have the book listing up between 12PM (noon) and 1PM PST (if it appears I will differ wildly from that time range, I’ll let you all know). I’ll be sending out another email right before I put up the listing, so don’t worry, you’ll get a reminder from me again. The first half of books that went up for sale in July sold out in about 6 hours. If that time table is similar in November, then I'll be shipping out the last books on November 16th (which means everyone should be getting things before the winter holidays).

Yes, I did say the first batch. The second batch will be sold later this year. This is done simply to ensure that any lost or damaged orders (primarily pertaining to still outstanding Kickstarter orders) can be dealt with.

If the listing says it is sold out, or the storefront is closed, then this first batch is claimed and you will need to wait for the second batch to be announced.

First come, first served, because there is a limited quantity of books left. I am splitting up the available stock because I still have Kickstarter backers who have not received their book, so need to ensure they receive their reward. Essentially, I’m selling what is left in two “waves.” 

Aside from Kickstarter backers, I am not holding reserves or preorders. The store listing for the book, when I put it up on July 4th, will be for a limited quantity (wave #1 if you will), and when it's sold the number I tell it is available, it will be listed as sold out. Wave #2 will be available later in the year after I’ve given those Kickstarter stragglers a touch more time to respond to me. Once wave #2 is sold out, that’s it, all books will be gone.

Anyway! Down to business. Getting the excess books up for sale has taken more time than I wanted. There's been some stragglers as far as Kickstarter backers has gone, and those all have taken priority. There are STILL stragglers, and I'm actually still getting international orders sent back to me. With that in mind, I don't have the entirety of the excess copies that I can put up for sale. BUT, that doesn't mean I need to sit on all the copies. I'd like to put up half the stock I have for sale about mid-June. The remainder after THAT, would be put up, most likely, closer to fall/winter, just to be extra super sure that all Kickstarter backers were taken care of.

That's the current plan. This email serves as a heads up, and as a "let's make sure everyone's email works." I'll send out another email two weeks before I put books up for sale, with the specific day and rough time frame.

I think that covers it. To reiterate:

Half of books remaining will be up for sale initially (this is about 40 copies).

Looking at mid-June, will email with specifics two weeks ahead of time.

Books will be up on a Storenvy specifically set up for Beyond the Breach.

Books will be $20, with an additional $10 for international shipping (same as the $20 tier on the Kickstarter). (I'll reiterate when the books are up for sale, but I'd prefer that books are limited to one purchase per person, in an attempt to give as many people as possible a chance to get the book.)

Remaining half of books will be up for sale in the fall/winter.

Once all books have sold, that's it. (Special circumstances may make a reprint possible, but that will need confirmation that all contributors are okay with a reprint, more crowd funding, and passing BtB onto another person who would have that bandwidth.)

No problem at all! Extra copies will be $20, same as the book only reward tier of the Kickstarter (with a slight extra charge for those international shipments). And, once all those extra copies are sold, the profits off that and the Kickstarter will be donated to Seattle Attic and Mission Blue!
