Vintage and antique Hungarian rag rugs are from rural Hungary and come in a variety of colour schemes and patterns. They are woven on traditional floor looms and each one is unique, made using recycled vintage clothes, look close at the stripes and you'll see individual patterns of the fabric they are made up of.

This is a vintage Hungarian skirt, would have been worn over several petticoats. Made from cotton which has been dyed in indigo blue with hand blocked with a flower pattern . The waist band has been stitched by hand, the hem by machine. The skirt is full and a wonderful shape with starched pleats. The waist opening, is secured with ties, but can be adapted to be smaller or larger, as the side seam has been finished with a 20cm/ 7.8 inch opening, where you can wrap the skirt around your waist, so this skirt will fit different sizes. Size: The circle skirt is made up of 6 panels each average 80 cms / 31.49 inches at the widest part. Length from waist to hem 74 cm / 29.13 inches Waist - fabric length, not including ties. 90 cm / 35.43 inches Circumference of skirt hem 4.80cm / 188.97 inches
