I wish that they got Beverly to be in the episode where Picard was getting his heart surgery in S2. Like, she could have been the "I know someone" individual that the Doctor's reached out to once the surgery started going wrong. I mean, easily explained as she had arranged to see Wesley on the station as is. And they knew she was there. Bonus could be that Beverly when swapping out with Pulaski could have given this particular medical update to Pulaski in regards to Picard given that "he has ignored it far to long" - it wouldn't be unreasonable to have Beverly pass along a "He was do for a replacement on his artificial heart recently, however he keeps refusing any conversation with me about it. I now pass that on to you"
All the image aspects and stuff like that could easily still be a part of the episode. Especially as they could still have a notification sent out to Pulaski about the procedure (given she would need any medical updates for his file as is as she is CMO on his ship and would have access to this stuff) status and could have a scene on the Enterprise of her simply request to get to Starbase 515 immediately.
Anyways, like, Picard waking up to see Beverly above him and being all "What are you doing here? I never wanted you involved in this?" reaction but also with a grateful look on his face despite his words and she just casually pulls the "I was here to see my son but you decided to almost die." Pause "The Enterprise arrived ten minutes ago."
