I was thinking about how in Back to Earth Lister decides not to stay with a version of Kris (who is a hallucination) because she isn't real. But later in the Promised Land, Lister asks Holo Rimmer to stay with him and convinces Rimmer that he is real.

The Cat was actually just being so picky not wanting to eat out of the medical dishes. Like Lister made you some really good food and those dishes are sterile.

Imagine being the little boy who played the eight year old version of Rimmer in that one episode. You're a little kid, you book an acting job, and they're just like "okay, we're just gonna tie you up upside down and dangle you there for this scene."

Danny John-Jules perfectly adapting the mannerisms, attitude and contrariness of a domestic cat into a humanoid form still unironically some of the best acting I've ever seen
