Nevermind the character model inconsistencies and the fact that I had no idea of what I was doing most of the time lol

It was close. Too close, but not close enough. A good kind of too close. Unfamiliar, warm…safe… Despite everything, being Jackson Overland again wasn’t all bad.

“Du ved så mange ting, oppe i den knold. Hvordan er det, at være så klog?”

(I imagine Jack speaking Norse with a slight American accent - and since I’m danish that’s the Norse they’re speaking in my head)

I loved this chapter, it makes my heart swell when Jack gets to let go and enjoy life - my face is hurting with how wide I was smiling throughout the chapter.

HiJack Week Day 4 - "Please don't leave me"

- everyone started moving in a circle, singing and moving in a well-versed rhythm. Gobber’s voice somehow never drowned in all the rest of them, singing his heart out with crude lyrics about his axe and mace and ugly wife. Jack didn’t know the lyrics, though he quickly learned the last line of every verse: I’m a Viking through and through.
