"who are you? i didnt see you last night, no, i didn't." bess was baby-talking the dog before she heard the hesitant voice of a man. the man she had spotted and took as a challenge last night. with muscles in all the right places, she hadnt thought he'd have a cute little dog like this.

his awkwardness made her giggle as if to soothe the air. "i slept amazing. though i was more worn out than usual i think." she teased, continuing to pet the pup. "bean is your name?" bess addressed the dog, flattening their ears. "cutie."
