Hii!! My name is Isla and this is my blog to track my shifting journey. Shifting is always something that I have been aware of since I was around 12 and I always have random bursts of energy where I try my hardest to grow spiritually.

I love manifestation, loa, lucid dreaming and the void state .

Staying motivated can be really hard, it’s something that I myself struggle with often. Whenever you feel frustrated about your shifting journey, you should take a break and do activities to connect yourself with your dr.

Do meditations without the intent of shifting, just calm yourself down and connect with all the different versions of yourself. Listen to affirmations throughout the day. Listen to music that reminds you of yourself dr and just stare at the sky and remind yourself that your dr is somewhere out there.

You can script some more, and proofread your script. Imagine small details of your dr like the houses or your closet. Make a saved folder on your TikTok and save videos that you’d imagine your dr self would post. Make an Instagram account on lifa app for your dr self. Imagine scenarios in your head, listen to music and imagine you’re your dr self.

When you finally decide that you are ready to try and shift again, spend the whole day leading up to it by affirming. Get yourself excited to shift.

Remember when you first discovered shifting, and the excitement you must have felt when you realised there’s an escape. Try and feel that again, be excited to shift, don’t get stuck in the mindset of nothing is working. Something will work and you will get there. All good things take time.

Lately whenever I try to shift, my mind starts to wander of a lot.

I’ve never had this problem before and I don’t know why I’m having it now but every time I try to shift I can never focus on it. I’ll start to think about problems I’m facing in my cr and how I should handle it, and I try to backtrack and say that I don’t have to worry about it because I’ll shift but then something else always comes up. I start to think about plot holes in my script and try and fix them in my head and then once again I backtrack and say that it doesn’t matter but then something else will come up. Another thing is that my mind gets really tired and I can never count or visualize.

This is really starting to demotivate me because it feels like I’m moving backwards in my shifting journey. I don’t know what to do. If anyone has any tips please lmk.

Ok so I was trying to shift last night, and I like to tell myself that if I don’t shift to my dr I’ll shift to an alternate reality instead where the books on my bookshelf are out of order. I don’t give myself the option to wake up in my cr, I have to shift one way or another.

Last night I tried to shift to my the 100 dr and once again told myself that even if I don’t shift there, I’ll still shift to an alternate reality. And though most of the times I don’t shift to either, I still convince myself that I do. (No shifting attempt is a fail)

But today I woke up and the red queen series on my bookshelf was not the way it usually is. The first book of the series was somehow all the way in the end. I know that none of my family messes with my books so there is no explanation for this other than the fact that I shifted!!

I totally understand your frustration. It can be really demotivating when you don’t see results but I’d recommend that you keep trying, don’t see failures as failures. Even if you affirmed something and it didn’t work tell yourself that it did, convince yourself that you have the power to do anything.

Start small, use loa in your everyday life to get rid of small inconveniences like hiccups or a stiff neck. Whenever anything works in your favour, even if it was just out of pure luck, tell yourself that you manifested it. Won a card game? You manifested it through loa! Reconnected with an old friend? You manifested it through loa.

I’ve been getting a lot of asks lately about all kinds of stuff. If I don’t reply just know that it’s probably something that I also struggle with or maybe it’s just something I don’t understand. I don’t have all the worlds knowledge and I wouldn’t recommend depending on me for answers. Once again everyone’s journey is different and sometimes you only need yourself to find answers.

A reminder to my shifters :

Everyone’s journey is different! Just because something works for someone else doesn’t mean not mean it’ll work for you. You need to record your own journey and make your own path. Yes you can take advice from people but only you can make yourself shift.

There are multiple ways to get to the void but I cannot tell anyone what the easiest way is since something different works for everyone.

If you like to visualise then try this out:

Lay down in a comfortable position and play subliminal if you’d like. Imagine yourself in a pool, a dark pool that seems like it has no start or end. At the bottom of said pool you see an orange light, it’s really deep down and you have to reach it in order to get to the void. Imagine yourself swimming down towards the glow, feel yourself in the water, feel how light you are and imagine how the current would feel against your skin. Stay still in your chosen position until you start to feel symptoms of the hypnagogic state and really detach your subconscious from your body. While you’re going towards the glow say affirmations like “I am pure subconscious” and “I am in the void”. Convince yourself that once you reach the orange light, you will enter the void. Keep affirming and once you reach the glow imagine that you are sucked into it and it drops you off in the abyss, it’s pure black and you’re detached from your body. Trace the patterns behind your eyelids until your thoughts get quiet and you’re in the void.

If you don’t like the visualise try this out:

Lay in a comfortable position and play a subliminal if you’d like. Trace the patterns behind your eyes and count from 1 to 100 as many times as it takes for you to feel numb and weightless. Let your body relax. Once you’ve reached that point you can start affirming, say affirmations like “it’s easy for me to reach the void” “I am in the void” “I am pure subconscious”. If any thoughts try and distract you, let them pass, don’t give it more power. Keep affirming until you reach the void.

Sometimes it can be hard to tell that you’re in the void in the moment since everything is so quiet it’s hard to even think. The first few times I entered the void I wasn’t able to do anything but just enjoy the feeling. But practice makes perfect, after a few tries you can train your mind the remember the signs of when you’re in the void and therefore be able to shift and manifest from there.

And tbh I don’t agree that it is a feminist thing because it’s very hypocritical to support these as a woman. And it’s not ethical, humane, or sane at all to believe everyone will go to a Muslim afterlife wether they like it or not since with shifting you can go wherever you want forever, like for example if you want to go to your own heaven you can! You don’t have to experience the same Muslim heaven or hell even if you aren’t and don’t want to, but in islam you believe everyone will have the same afterlife wether they want that or not. So yea I don’t see how it made sense either sorry..

I totally see where you all are coming from and can understand some points. I was very privileged to not be raised in an extremist family and I’m sorry for whatever you went through growing up. I wasn’t raised to believe that it’s a sin to not wear hijab, instead I was told how Allah is the most forgiving and it was my choice whether I wanted to wear the hijab or not. Many of the women who feel oppressed from Islam just grew up with really strict cultures and I just feel like people shouldn’t try to act like they know exactly the kind of person I am just because I am Muslim. I absolutely do not support misogyny or the oppression of women, I am not homophobic and I am not a member of hamas (idek where that one came from).

I’m just sick of the toxicity of everything now. I respect everyone’s beliefs. You could be a bad person and I’d still be kind to you because being rude won’t resolve anything. Me being a Muslim isn’t affecting anyone and you guys not being Muslim isn’t affecting me in any way.

Hypnagogia is during or before sleep onset, there’s a weird liminal state that almost all of us can relate to called hypnagogia. It’s when we are still basically awake, but dreamlike thoughts and hallucinations begin to creep into our conscious experience.

The symptoms that most shifters describe are not symptoms of shifting but rather that of the hypnagogic state. These include the feeling of floating or falling, buzzing or tingling sensations, noises and twitching. These symptoms are your mind sending signals to your body to see if it’s awake.

You can get to the hypnagogic state by lying down in the position that you would sleep in and try your hardest to stay sharp and keep your mind awake while your body goes to sleep. You can do this by counting or twitching your fingers slightly when you feel like you’re drifting off. Once you feel the symptoms you know that you’ve reached the hypnagogic state.

Once you’re in this state you can do multiple things like shift, lucid dream or manifest. During this time you feel detached from your body which can help you use loa and affirmations to shift. If you want to lucid dream you don’t need to do anything but stay alert until you start dreaming and you’ll automatically enter the dream lucid.

The symptoms you’re describing is usually what it feels like when you’re entering the hypnagogic state. It’s the state you’re in when your body is asleep but your subconscious is awake. There are no real symptoms when shifting but when I feel these hypnagogic state symptoms I like to think that it’s me detaching from my body which can help you imagine that you’re pure subconscious. Moving and twitching is completely normal when you’re in this state, it’s just your mind sending signals throughout your body to see if you’re awake or not, I’d recommend that whenever you move you should ignore it instead of feeling dis encouraged and opening your eyes. If your eyes open on their own then just immediately close them again and convince yourself it never happened, start affirming again and ignore your doubts.

Not being able to reach the hypnagogic state anymore or feeling those symptoms is also completely normal, you don’t need to feel out of body to be able to shift. Use any method you like and don’t be worried if you’re not feeling anything, be sure in yourself and try to shift how you normally would. There is nothing you need to fix!

I’m not too sure about the nausea though, maybe you weren’t feeling too well and needed to rest when you were attempting to shift. Give yourself a break and trust that when the time is right you will shift. If you are having a lot of doubts, I’d recommend you do shadow work and try reprogramming your mind to shift using the law of assumption.
