im honestly so sad you're not writing MAY anymore, although I understand. Reading how the story ends put a sort of sad sinking feeling in my stomach if that makes sense. It's nice to see how it all ends, but it would've been killer to see it all play out. I hope you maybe pick it up again someday :) if not, would you ever consider doing some cute, short Louis/Joey drabbles in the future? I'm interested to see how their unique prom night plays out :) xoxo

im going to try to say this without sounding like a college rejection letter but folks (all 5 of you,) i will no longer be writing mad about you. turns out im busy as hell this semester and i just havent really been able to find my mojo with this story for the last couple of chapters. i dont want to give you subpar content, but i also don’t want to leave you hanging. so, in short, this is how mad about you ends (or how i had planned):
SO. when planning this story i planned it through character relationships, so I’ll just explain it that way:
joey/mom: they make up OBV. they are mother and daughter and it is not one of /those/ stories. they eventually start to talk about things normally and end up being pretty close once she understands that her mom isnt still morning the loss of her marriage and is just a normal woman w her own principles.
joey/maggie: eventually they get into a fight about how maggie is always bein a shady betch to her. it happens one morning drive to school and joey gets out and walks by herself. (then she makes louis cut school w her and go to the city. they also try to have sex FOR DA FIRST TIME this day but are thwarted by louis family barging in.) but back to maggie and joey. they end up making up to keep peace within the friend group but will they stay friends in the long run? fuck no!!
joey/blake: BFFAE. blake goes to prom w harry but they dont end up together or anything. lol. for the phase that joey wont drive to school with maggie anymore blake bikes to school with her everyday because they are SISTERS.
natalie/joey: i developed this friendship poorly. theyre fine i guess??
joey/dad: joey goes to see her dad in ny to visit nyu and shit. she has a great time and falls in love w the city. her and her dad are bros.
joey/niall: so i dont know if i ever posted this chapter, but niall eventually gets all sad about being #friendzoned by joey and at a party is like “why do u flirt w me” and shes lik what. and then later on hes like “i think i love you” and shes like no u dont u dont know me!! we dont know eachother. and hes like o tru. well not really its awkward for a while but they end up being friends senior year because the whole situation makes him realize he is finally mature enough for a girlfriend. so he d8s someone else. YIPEE.
joey/louis: OH YA BITCHES. so they stay together throughout. when shes in NY she tells him that she loves him on the phone accidentally. he gets into college and it’s like 2 hours away so its all good but she starts to have anxiety about him leaving. they skip the prom and go to a talking heads concert and she cries after but they have some awesome sex in a hotel room! classy kids, they are. then they have a sick summer together before he leaves. this is the last paragraph of mad about you for whatever reason i had it written:
“My friends, Louis’ friends, and his parents watch with pity as I wave to Louis from the sidewalk. He drives away, their eyes follow. It’ll be hard, yes. It’s going to be so hard. But we’re Louis and Joey, the best damn couple in the world. For once, it’s as simple as that. I know it’s not the last they’ll be seeing of us. Not even close.”
and thats it!! whether or not they end up together forever is up to the readers interpretation. can their love conquer all? who knows. this could be the story shes telling her teenage daughter one day. anyway. that’s a wrap folks. have a nice life :~)

sorry i havent been updating guys!! i was recently struck with a new idea (unfortunately one that cant be twisted into 1dff) and it’s been a major distraction.

i have the next one finished but not proof read atm
i usually like to have two chapters completed (or at least halfway) before I post the next just so I dont fall behind and they sort of flow into each other better for people who are reading all at once
