hello i am here to annoy u abt pdgg. something ive been thinking about alot recently is like. salveria !! would she change her fate if she could? and thats. genuinely such a hard question to answer because i dont think changing fate is a concept that has ever existed to salveria. like fate is something so undeniable to this world and to her that she doesnt even think of her doom as a tragedy. she never once wished things could be different because she knows they never couldve been !!! however i do think if presented with the offer of changing her fate she would accept. because shes a normal teenager who wants to live. actually though hm,,,,,the whole reason matthew and alex were able to reconnect and become friends again was because of her death. so honestly maybe shed keep her fate the same if she had the option because the idea of matthew and alex never getting to be friends again breaks her heart more than the idea of her never getting to be friends with either of them again. #mychronicallyselflessdaughter

salveria to me is such a fascinating character?? she seems so silly and sweet on the surface- and she probably is both of those things, but at the same time, underneath all of that is someone so incredibly desensitized to the concept of dying in general…
in the sense that(and sorry if i’m misinterpreting her character 🥲) her outlook on her future seems very casual and (haha)… grounded considering her situation? like ‘oh i’d prefer not to die but that isn’t possible so there’s no point in thinking about it- and even if there was hypothetically some sort of way to save me- maybe the negatives would outweigh the positives? maybe it’s for the better? we probably shouldn’t mess with things like fate.’
she breaks my heart to think about oughh. she deserved to goof off with her friend and not have to carry the universe’s burden
i wonder how finally dying must have felt. was she scared? did she cry out? the raw, desperate instinct to live overcoming her in the her final moments? or did she smile? was she finally at peace knowing that the axe hanging over her head had finally fallen?
