The writing style of this is gorgeous. Deep introspection. Din does gets hurt (it follows the end of season 1) and Grogu is his own, deep character.

Din and Grogu get badly injured in a bounty gone wrong and have to help patch each other up. Very cute, heartfelt and endearing scene in the end. Goes heavy on the hurt and the comfort, this one

Everything’s going south and Din has to act quick to save Grogu. Great whump but also good reconciliation and comfort in the end.

You might like my fic series “Lift a Sail.” It’s a fix it where Grogu doesn’t go with Luke in the end of s2. Managed to pack quite a few father and son moments in; definitely some hurt, but definitely comfort.
