loooooooooooooooved it. The normal route. i think it's easily the most complex chapter technically like omfg there were so many new gimmicks. the platformer stuff was genuinely so insane and cool, made it feel like a whole different game lol. idk if we'll see it ever again but man it was fun and unexpected. LOVED the human flowers soo much also. aqua my fave... and orange. Toby fox adding woody to the game only for him to be a massively suicidal personified flower is funny as fuck. genuinely that whole part had me rolling. didnt get the secret boss or egg but i basically always skip those my first playthrough, also my bum ass save file didnt even have full recruits or anything so ill have to do another on my switch or something lol.

flowery battle made me cry bc the music and scenery change was too good. Saying goodbye to all the flowers also made me cry. like dude why dont we all just kill ourselves. LETS ALL JUST DIE. OH YM GODDDD. ITS PEAK (TEARS). i think my singular complaint is that it was just? Way longer than expected. which isnt even a bad thing i just kept thinking i was nearly at the end only for there to be 2+ more hours of content. HUGE darkworld genuinely. only and issue if youre determined to play it through in one sitting like me lol. also it felt difficult but im also just bad at video games lmao

ALSO sorry can i talk about the aborted wr for a second. its like so anticlimactic and i cant stop thinking about it. Nothing changed. Nothing changed. i cant think of many situations where noelle is just like, completely done with kris & feels nothing but maybe contempt for them. except right here. Like bro. your estranged childhood friend tortures you for a couple days and the second you have a moment of clarity and realization that you can break out of the path laid before you, the person youve been playing on autopilot for years, ... they fail you. its just over. nothing changes. all of that & a dead classmate for nothing. you got a taste of that power, and now you never will feel that way again. its just a really devastating point to choose to abort the route at. am i already thinking of comic ideas for this concept. maybe
