i really appreciate this shot of the servant witnessing this exchange between gabriella and lestat and being shown to be visibly uncomfortable. lestat might claim that vampirism overrides familial bonds (something which i’m sure will be contested just alone based on the fact that in the current timeline they feel a need to hide their relationship) but this shows that even before they became vampires their relationship crossed boundaries and wasn’t perceived as normal by anyone else who got a glimpse of it

this is actually sending me. gabriella saw lestat stop time to fly up to louis and serenade him and immediately took out her phone to snap a quick picture of it

trial revisit…. can we please spare a trial revisit in these trying times

these scenes say so much about their dynamic. lestat keeps declaring his longing for a real relationship between the two of them which gabriella cannot reciprocate in the way that he wants her to. but she never outright rejects him either instead just choosing to ignore what he’s saying in favor of continuing the relationship on her own terms

this man is losing the idgaf war what do you mean he counted down the exact number of days until he met louis for the first time

the way it’s so incredibly clear that lestat couldn’t care less about the mob there to worship him. he stays catatonic when gabriella first brings it up and then only starts to rise out of it when she starts giving him her care and attention. and when she retracts it again placating him with the thought of getting his worship from other people he starts screaming for her to come back
