I was procrastinating about scheduling EMDR, was venting about it to my bff, and she said for every appointment I schedule and go to she will write me 500 words of fic about The Character. Literally I felt like a treat-motivated dog who had been offered a bite of steak. She said to send her a list of tropes and I have never felt more motivated in my entire life. What the fuck would we even do without our friends

It might have been weeks of procrastination before I emailed the clinic but boy let me tell you how I emailed them *immediately* after bestie gave me this incentive
