Lucanis is almost never comfortable in the Lighthouse.
If he's sitting, he doesn't lean back.
If he's leaning against the wall, his arms are crossed.
The extraordinarily awkward way that he leans an arm on the wall beside Rook says that though Lucanis has probably seen Illario pull this move a hundred times there is 0% understanding of its meaning and purpose when he tries it himself.
When you do find him just standing around the Lighthouse compound, he's like a sprinter waiting for a starter pistol; he's either pitched forward and taut, or he's stretching his shoulders and arms.
Mary Kirby was asked if Spite ever appeared in Lucanis' comfy clothes. She replied that Spite has no concept of clothes, he is a manifestation of the way Lucanis sees himself...and Lucanis is never comfortable.
But, when Lucanis is out in the world--when he's working--his idle animation is so different. I still wouldn't call it comfortable, or relaxed, but it's a huge contrast to his Lighthouse self.
Out in the world, he leans back on his heel.
He looks around. He puts his hands on his hips.
He does a lil contrapposto.
His relationship to comfort and relaxation has been forever changed by the Ossuary. But I think he must have always been like this...
