i need to start this off by saying that i am the #1 ai hater but i dont want to be a hypocrite so i have to know

if i copy and paste a math homework question into google in hopes of finding an answer from quizlet and brainly but ai overview gives me the answer and i use that answer does that make me a horrible person

please dont take this to assume i use it for all my schoolwork or anything like that i literally cannot be more against it. i would never use gpt or clause or gemini or copilot etc etc

i have always cleared busywork given by teachers this way, by copy pasting them into google and hoping someone who has gone through these questions in the past posted them online, as im sure most people have when they have other things to actually do and study for

but now because of freaking an inclined plane overview being the first thing that pops up when i try to google anything and shoves the right answer in my face i dont know how to feel. well, other than guilty. like sometimes a part of me hopes it pops up so i can write down the answer and move on.

be honest am i being hypocritical

i try to justify myself sometimes by checking the links and seeing that the sources are from those websites that you usually cant access without a membership or whatnot, like chegg or study.com
