YELLOW SUBMARINE AU LORE
Since a few of you asked for it, here's a random lore dump!
Venus (The Chief before he became a Blue Meanie) met Max as a little kid but didn't see him again until he fled Pepperland as an adult
Venus didn't only write Yellow Submarine, but Octopus's Garden as well.
Venus was the keyboardist for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
When Venus noticed that his teeth were turning yellow because of the blue meanie transformation, he went to a dentist. That's when he first met Jeremy. They became good friends after that. However, when Venus fled Pepperland, the town was told that he had actually died (which was a lie of course). Jeremy was so depressed that he asked The Bluebird of Happiness to banish him to the Sea of Nothing because Venus was actually his only friend :(
It usually takes a Pepperlandian 2 weeks to fully become a blue meanie (we still have no idea if it can be reversed though).
Because of his willingness for leadership, sometimes the members of Sgt. Pepper's Band called Venus "Chief" (subtle foreshadowing ooooo)
Lucy (in the sky with diamonds) and The Bluebird of Happiness are friends.
That's all I can think of! Don't be afraid to ask me stuff about my lore (actually, I highly encourage you to, I'm super bored lol).
I have a HUGE theory…so you know how “Spirk”(Spock x Kirk) has been denied by literally every major Star Trek creator and/or actor? Well, I think since it’s Star Trek’s 60th anniversary, they might do something special 🥹 My theory is that after all of these years, they WILL make Spirk canon in some way. Now, that may be a stretch, but I have lots of evidence. First of all, in the novelization of Star Trek: The Motion Picture (I think lol), Spock calls Jim his “T’hy’la”, meaning friend, brother, or LOVER. But Gene Roddenberry had to write a note in the book, in Captain Kirk’s perspective, of how Spock used the word to only call him friend and brother…I just don’t get it though. Why would Spock be the first to canonically use that word but only meaning friend or brother (to put it simply, why give a word a romantic meaning only for its first usage to not mean that)? The second evidence, I’ve been watching a lot of the movies recently and noticed that Spock and Kirk stand VERY close to each other. I know I might be overthinking this, but let me cook guys 🫡 I’ve seen that these two are basically joined at the hip all the time. I first noticed this during in Star Trek IV (I think it’s because Jim missed Spock 🥺). If you pay attention enough, their shoulders are constantly touching or there’s the smallest gap between them (I will put some pictures for proof lol). And the scene in Star Trek V where Kirk tries to hug Spock and he says “Not in front of the Klingons”??? LIKE…William Shatner directed that movie, made the choice to add that scene, and he’s somehow the biggest Spirk hater in the world 😭 Last of all, we have seen that Jim would literally die for Spock. That was the whole point of the third movie. He went all the way back to Genesis to save him. But did he ever go back to save any of his “red-shirts”? No. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care, of course 😌 And the very last scene in that movie just had so much romantic tension! Trust me, me and my friend were grabbing onto each other going, “THEY’RE GAY!!! THEY’RE GAY!!!” So, I believe that in SNW (or I guess in any Star Trek media), they might make Spirk Canon in some way (emphasis on “some way”, because this can become canon through a full on relationship or even something small like a kiss). Anyway, I’m sorry for all of the yap, but I hope you liked my theory, SPIRK FOREVERRRRRR!!!! 💛 💙

Guys, I’m sorry that this is so random, but I HATE Sarek so much. “But he’s a good dad in Journey to Babel 🥺🫶” THAT WAS ONE EPISODE, SHANON (idk anyone named Shanon, just picked a random name 😂). The thing that he did that boils my blood the most is in Star Trek V when we see the flashback of Spock’s birth and he’s holding baby Spock (who’s crying because believe it or not Sarek, babies do that when they’re born), and he goes “He’s so human 😒” and he hands him back to the nurse….DOES THIS MAN KNOW WHAT A BABY IS!? 😭🙏 Anyway, yeah, I just wanted to talk about something random 😍

Okayy, so I think if there would ever be a movie explaining the origins of the Chief Blue Meanie, I think it should go like this:
He used to be a human named Venus and he was in Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. He wrote the song, “Yellow Submarine” but the group made fun of it. He got offended and started noticing signs that he was transforming into a blue meanie (Pepperlandians can turn into blue meanies if they’re losing their connection with music). He tries to hide it from the group and everyone in town, but things keep getting worse until he was at his breaking point and demanded a hiatus. So he spent many weeks locked away in his house, and one day when Fred came to check on him, he had found that Venus had fully turned into a blue meanie and he ran away. Venus later met a large group of blue meanies and they decided he should take leadership. Of course, this isn’t the complete story, but I’ll maybe keep posting about it. Also, I think I want Venus’s cousin, The Bluebird of Happiness, to have some sort of significance in the story 🤷♀️
