I wish I knew how to look for a dentist that's autism/neurodivergent/disabled friendly INCLUDING ADULTS, close by and accepts my shitty insurance. Last appointment I had was for a deep cleaning but the dentist left me bleeding and in pain afterwards. She told me the next appointment was for polishing and also complained that I should have came in to that appointment in the morning as soon as they opened despite that I was given an afternoon appointment. Fast forward to the polish appointment yesterday. I go in and I was told by the assistant that I'm to get the other side of my mouth done for the deep cleaning. I said that I was told that I was there for the polish. The dentist came in and yelled that she did my full mouth and I just needed the polish. I ended up having the other side of my mouth deep cleaned, just as painful as last time. The dentist said that I'm not gonna have anymore treatments because I won't get more of the anti-anxiety meds she told me to get, which had no effect on me when I took it during one of the appointments for the extraction. I specifically TOLD her that the meds had no effect on me! Also during this deep cleaning, I told her about the trauma caused by the wisdom teeth extractions I got years ago where they refused to sedate me and she told me to just stop thinking about it because it happened so long ago. Like it's not something I can just "forget" about! I feel so defeated because it's like nobody in the medical industry will listen to me and care about my wellbeing and accommodations. My insurance keeps denying shit I need and my insurance, the dentist and doctor are just colluding together to come up with ways to torment me until I finally kill myself from all this shit they're putting me through. It's like I have to make the choice of whether to keep allowing these sick fucks to keep abusing me like this for "treatment" or to avoid seeking help and accepting any aliments and lower quality of life that'll come with not getting looked over.
Once again the ASMR/reiki/other new age content creators on YouTube failed the "Stop demonizing narcissists and treating us like supernatural monsters" challenge.
