Meet Figi (pronounced like fidget) the rainbow naga.
She's made of three fidget slugs, a G1 Lagoona torso with Draculaura arms, and a G3 Frankie head. I rerooted the black stripes into rainbow stripes (though you can only see the red and purple in my pics unfortunately), repainted her face, and ofc strung together the tail and attached it with milliput.
I'm super pleased with how funky she is.

Quick doll kimono dressing, using a strip of fabric (simply iron pressed) and a ribbon for the obi belt. The 4x13,5cm strip OP used was made to dress Sylvanian Family baby sized figurines, but this can easily be adjust for other types I am sure!
OP makes great Japanese style clothes for Sylvanians, go check her website too, she posts step by step and even pdf patterns <3

Oh hey they DO make a Encanto Luisa fashion doll with full articulation! But she's (again) only available and part of a set. The deluxe set from the Disney Store...that's $100
I'm not giving that much money to the mouse company for a toy, no matter how much I love her.
Would I pay $50 for just an articulated Luisa doll by itself?

I gave in and bought the Encanto fashion doll gift set just so I can have a Luisa doll.
Worth it!
The other dolls are nice too. Anyone wanna Isabela doll cheap? She has a great character arc but I'm just not that interested in the doll.
Also ran into a lovely Wal-mart employee and we discussed dolls and doll customizing. She also let me know the store had some 5 surprise mini toy balls in clearance (less than half price woot!). So shout out to her for making my night better.
Also...also....I should not be allowed in any store's toy section unsupervised. I always sent too much!
But I also regret nothing.

Miniature house of the Addams Family.
Artist Kelly Little-Kuehnert of K&K Custom Miniature Creations made this amazing miniature models of the Addams Family home for a client. The house took about a year to built.
I could never do this, I still haven’t started my dollhouse, but these miniatures are costly, b/c they’re so small and detailed. I wonder what she charged to make this.

I just opened the Pretty.Artee one and she is cute as shit. I honestly don’t have to do anything with her face or her outfit though I might add some accessories. I think I’m gonna can her Nadine
I also have the Dance.Stylz one cause her braid omg
She’s getting a whole new outfit. I was gonna maybe change her face but it grew on me...and aso their makeup is super hard to remove (acetone isn’t gonna do it and I am not melting a face again). She’s already in Bi pride colors so I’m use that as an influence for her new outfit. Gonna be a fun project.
Overall I’m liking these dolls. Brushing out the hair is a bit of a pain but a good wash seems to fix it. The faces are nice, I believe the sculpts are by the guy who created Monster High. I’m picky on dolls with inset eyes (don’t know if that’s the right term for the) and I just can’t get to liking Rainbow High, but these ones are the right balance of life-like and cartoony for my taste at least. Much better than the ‘Snap Star’ dolls we had a few years ago.
The line definitely suffers from some of the common stereotypes we see, especially with dolls of color, in many dolls lines. I don’t know what else to say about that, I wish I did.
I hope the line continues though and I would love to see a guy doll but with the hair and make-up gimmick at the forefront I doubt it. Unless we can get a guy going full glam-rock or goth which would be awesome I think.
