A new sewing project has just begun — it’s a special custom order, meant to be a unique thank-you gift.

I made this backpack myself — from leftover fabrics I had at home.

Every piece has a story, every stitch was worth it.

I’ve been using it for a week now, even took it on a hike — and it held up like a champ.

Took me forever, made a few oopsies, but hey — this lil’ glow-in-the-dark butterfly pillow turned out super soft and kinda magical. Not perfect, but 100% made with love!

Sewing in nature is the best, especially when the kids are asleep!

The Easter kitties were finished at the very last minute, and there wasn’t enough of the off-white fleece for the black one, so I chose this mint green fabric instead — it’s at least 20 years old (my mom used to sew things for my little brother from it).

I’ve decided that in the coming months, I won’t be buying any new materials—instead, I’ll be creating and recycling from leftover supplies at home. The larger airplanes were already made this way.

A new order came in, so besides working on my own project, I made a kindergarten bedsheet today. To avoid waste, I used the leftover fabric to make a teddy bear as a gift.
