how it sounds, its meaning, the metaphor, hell the very first fews lines “tell your baby im your baby” literally makes me ache or at least makes me tear up. its a beautiful song and as much as id like to, i dont think i could put how i feel about it accuratly enough through words or art. when i think of the song in my head i think of staring at my hands covered in dog fur and tears blurring my vision as i sit alone on the floor weeping and singing “my baby, my baby, youre my baby, say it to me. my baby, my baby, tell your baby that im your baby” so soft and so sad and so alone. it feels isolating and desperate.  what a beautiful song.
