(I would like to point out basically every single thing about this clip but lets start with these)

Surprise! Cris is waiting again! We’ve probably spent around seven minutes in total this season on Cris waiting around, but it’s nothing compared to what feels like seven years that i’ve waited for this clip.

After seeing Cris Joana is trying so hard to gather strenght to stay strong and to be tough. She is trying to protect Cris and herself as well, but it is taking a lot of her. She says later in this clip that she is fine now, and well she might be fine from a BPD pov, but other than that, this girl is not fine. 

Cris is trying to ignore that since she is on a mission. Can we just take a moment to appreciate how our girl Cris probably went to a bookstore for the first time in her life to get this book. I am proud. 

The “Cris i haven’t opened this fully yet but i could see the title of this book and you are making this being tough thing really difficult for me rn by being romantic basically for the first time in your life” look.

I love this. I love this so much. Not only because everything dangerous liaisons means to these two, not because Cris is actually being open about her feelings, but because i already know that this is now the most valuable possession that Joana has. She will treasure this book forever, and she now has something concrete to look at and read when things are shitty and when she needs a reminder that she is loved.

After Joana makes one more attempt to stay tough Cris goes into Joana at Viri’s party mode and basically starts a goodbye speech. Congrats skames for managing to break my heart the same way twice. Also, I’m really glad that they had Cris say te quiero out loud as well, i’m even more proud of this than of Cris  somehow knowing where to buy books from.

“I’m a fucking kinder surprise egg”. Yes you are Joana; you are delicious, pure and you just want to make people happy, but some people think you are a choking hazard because they can’t look after their kids. That’s on the parents Joana, not you. 

When Joana starts telling Cris why she shouldn’t be with her Cris smiles because it is now latest absolutely clear to her that the only reason Joana doesn’t want to be with her is to protect her. That’s easier to argue against than a “i don’t love you anymore” that Cris was scared to get. Also. “vale” really is our “always”, isn’t it?

“I can’t even stand myself, how am I going to be able to ask you to stand me?” We all knew that this was what Joana was thinking when breaking up with Cris, but hearing it out loud hurt me to my core. 

And Cris’s reaction to this comment was everything i hoped it would be. I hope that everyone who doubts their worthiness listens to this: letting someone love you is their decision to make, not yours. Thank you Nora for making Cris have this realisation. 

I’ve been quite vocal about how against i was any suicide related plot points and this was because it was often brought up as an ultimatum from Joana to Cris in a “verbalise your feelings or…” kind of way. Or as a way to make Cris realise she loves Joana. This was not that. This was Joana being honest about her situation and about her life and laying it all there in front of Cris. She said it expecting it to scare Cris away, but after letting it sink in Cris could say that it was “vale”. And she could say this on her terms, while not being pressured or threatened about it. 

Joana’s face speaks volumes when Cris is not scared away by what she says and when Cris says she’s not going to run away from this. She has just told probably one of her biggest secrets and insecurities and Cris says she’s not going to leave. This is not what she was expecting, she had already completely given up on the idea of them. 

And then we get our minute by minute speech and Isak and Evens across the universes are crying. Not being 100% certain about something and living in the moment is something that Cris can teach Joana. Cris tends to say she doesn’t know anything, Joana tends to say she’s sure of everything; they are meeting in the middle and living in the moment. 

Cris has come so far from not knowing what to say though. She not only knows how to confess her love, but she also now knows how to implement her humor and strenghts into situation she would’ve probably found uncomfortable before.

Have you ever seen anything more beautiful than Joana’s face when she realises that Cris is actually here to stay and that her gf is an actual dork? Didn’t think so. 

Joana may have been the one to break up with Cris and shattered Cris’s heart, but Cris is the one who came to Joana and she’s the one embracing her and the one telling her to come into her arms. This means that Cris has understood the mindset that Joana was in and where her actions came from. This is major major growth. 

Joana’s deep exhale when Cris hugs her tightly. I could just feel and see Joana’s world getting a bit lighter and some of the worry, sadness and regret leaving her body.

Cute nose rubs and forehead kisses are officially a crisana thing now, sorry i don’t make the rules. I also really really like the parallel with this and the perdóname clip as many have pointed out.

Is it just me, or doesn’t Cris look about five years older? Confidence looks good on you darling. I’d like to thank the girl squad for making Cris realise her impact, strenght and capabilities, and Joana for pulling them out. 

Seeing Joana in Cris’s arms after knowing what she has gone through in the past week makes me so emotional. I’m so ready for some cute soft crisana for the rest of the week.

correct me if im wrong because i havent watched all remakes but im pretty sure all evak remakes and the og have had a happy ending and it would be B O L D of skam espana to make the first w/w evak remake and be the first to not give it a happy ending? i dont see it happening tbh

i dont speak spanish so im not sure what irene exactly said during that radio interview but apparently skam espana put in a lot of effort to thorougly investigate MI’s and as far as ive seen and heard i think theyre doing an amazing job at portraying joana’s MI. then again i dont see a reason why skam espana would put in so much effort in trying to portray BPD as good as possible but then send a message to the viewers like “a relationship with someone who has BPD is not possible”… i just dont see them trying to do that. i do see them trying to send a message like “being in a relationship with someone who has BPD is hard and difficult, but in the end definitely still possible”

going back to the promotion picture they sent out: for some reason this just screams happy ending to me??? like i feel like if they didnt have a happy ending the picture would have to be a picture of just cris with maybe joana somewhere in the background, indicating that the season is about cris and a romance but you would be left in the dark about how the relationship would end. a kiss on the promotion picture which either we havent seen the scene of yet, which would automatically mean a happy ending, or they did a seperate shoot to promote a season about a L O V E story between two girls about overcominh hardships but finding their way to eachother. not sure if im explaining this one right, but to me the picture just indicates happy ending.

we know skam espana doesnt need that much time to resolve things between characters. when the big fight happened where joana told cris to “go back and suck every guys’ dick in the club’s toilet” and cris said “you’re crazy” i genuinely thought we needed at least a five-minute conversation between the two were the carefully talked everything out, but then theh surprises me with: “im sorry, me too, lets kiss”. and now i sort of actually get it; joana and cris are teenagers, they say a bunch of shit all the time and sometimes it just aint that deep. we’re all stressing about the time we have left but i feel like skam espana might need less time than we think.

i feel like we’ve come to this point where we’ve seen cris grown up a lot and they’ve shown us a lot of immature handling from cris earlier on in the season but they’ve shown us that because now we know she has learnt a lot from all those things. we’ve literally seen cris going from not taking anything too serious to being really invested in a relationship. i just know cris is ready to fight for her relationship at this point.

*not necessarily a reason for a happy ending* but i strongly believe that we’ll get a “cuddle scene” like even and isak had in the og where isak tells even they’ll take it second for second. at first i didnt think we would get a scene like that because i couldnt see how they were gonna make that work in cris’ house with her mom and all but they literally got joana a whole room, like why would you introduce a really personalized and detailed room for just a breakup scene? and they introduced joana’s parents too, we know they’re fully supportive of the relationship and like cris. i just really think they opened a door there for that og scene.

Nrk and all the norwegian team was super excited about the changes the spanish crew proposed to them. They gave them total liberty and are glad that they are making skam their own way.

Next season will have a lot of changes but they can’t talk about them yet

Something that Begoña wanted to represent in skam españa are the different Spanish social classes, something that in Norway is not so evident

The actors have a last saying in the scripts, and can add all the “mazo” “me renta” and other expressions that they want

Irene decided not to take the Norwegian Chris or the other remakes Chris as a reference. She doesn’t want her character to feel like is an spanish translation of somebody else, she wants her to be her own

The show share is not the way skam españa measure their success, so that’s not what they will take in count in order to have a new season (Youtube and the website are the important ones)

The research for Joana’s bdp started during the filming of season 1. They also worked with teens with MI, in fact talking with them was what make the crew decide that they wanted Joana to have bdp instead of being bipolar
