I’ve been side eyeing a lot of folks because of this R. Kelly stuff. Me and my friend/co-worker were talking about it and I told her about Game impregnating a 15 year old and she was like ‘Shit I wish he would’ve impregnated me at 15. I don’t see the problem.’ I was like ‘Girl that’s a damn kid’ and she replied, ‘If you old enough to get your period, you old enough to fuck’. I’m thinking to myself, ‘She don’t get it.’ There’s precocious puberty - 7 & 8 year olds who come on their cycles. Then I started thinking about my co-worker’s 4 year old daughter and how she’s doomed. That conversation definitely changed how I viewed my co-worker.

I got my period at ten. You know what I did at ten? I played with my Barbie boombox and my American Girl doll and raced my bike around the neighborhood with my cousins.
