one time i was making the mistake of looking at comments from "el camino" misunderstanders and more than one of them was like "we're supposed to think jesse is soooo much better than the other characters and deserving of freedom when he killed those two welder guys in the duel?? 🤨" and its like. Yeah Man. those two guys who were neo nazis and custom built a dog run for their nazi friends so they could more efficiently keep jesse chained up in their nazi meth lab?? maybe this is a hot take but i think if ur in the business of making custom saw traps for ur nazi buddies, u should maybe expect the victims of ur traps to come back and kill u if they manage to escape. idk just a thought.

I am so happy they gave us Gale Boetticher in breaking bad lol. like here's the picture perfect lab assistant for Walt. someone else who doesn't exclusively exist in the world of crime. an academic. a true science appreciator and understander. mild mannered, a good listener, someone who is willing and able to follow all of Walt's directions. someone intelligent and responsible. like we need Gale as a contrast to Jesse to illustrate how Walt's feelings and desires to have Jesse around completely defy the logic and reason Walt is always pretending to put on a pedestal! It's honestly so funny because Gale clearly has all the respect and admiration for Walt that he demands from Jesse but Walt just isn't interested in having that from anyone else. it's truly the moment when Walt is forced to admit to himself that it's Jesse and it has to be Jesse, no one else. just Jesse. lol I'm crazy
