in the original trilogy, darth vader has cut himself off from the man he used to be and has become cold and terribly lonely, terribly evil, and overall terribly terrible. but when he stands up to palpatine, chooses his son and dies in luke's arms wanting to see his face, to see his eyes with his own eyes?? that was all of him. that was anakin and darth vader. the two have clashed into the result of this one man.

but yeah i could never hate anakin skywalker. i understand why he crashed out 100%. he was literally groomed and manipulated since he was a child AND he was separated from his mother to train as a jedi and the fucking jedi council NEVER took him seriously. the fuck is wrong with you guys. he was literally born into slavery. i'll never hate anakin skywalker my heart breaks for him
