This girl right here is a human being, and the way she has been treated by the media is completely disgusting. Mental health is serious topic and the things people have been saying should never be said about anyone. Azzi is a kind, selfless, genuine, caring, sweet, hardworking person. She worked her ass off to go number 1. She battled injury after injury, and never gave up. Players aren’t going to have “record breaking nights” ever game, so I wish the media would back off of her. She’s an incredible player with loads of talent. Half the people saying shit about her couldn’t survive one day in her shoes. The W isn’t an easy league to play in by any means, so just cause she had an off game doesn’t mean she’s a bad player. She went number 1 for a reason. Coach Fernandez has said that time and time again. It wasn’t because of Paige. It wasn’t because they are dating. It’s because she is a generational type player, with an incredible basketball IQ. It takes time to develop chemistry, consistency, and confidence with a new team in a new city, so for the love of god give her some slack. The girl has been playing non stop basketball since last October. Let her breathe for a minute before criticizing her.
