coc 2020 Day 8: Rain

for this piece i decided to recreate the famous totoro scene but with simon’s wings as an umbrella :)

I had work to do, but then I was reminded it’s Simon’s birthday (or at least was 38 minutes ago) so I had to draw this instead

I’ll always be grateful for meeting him and growing older with him. I already turned 30, and my last tweeties were the best. I felt so good in my skin and loved. I wish the same for my boy.

Like, remember when that fomorian was feeling Baz up and Simon took an ivory stick and stabbed it through the guy's throat? In contrast, remember when Baz thought Simon had been killed by Braden's men, so he ripped Braden's jaw off and proceeded to tear chunks out of him with his teeth.

I love that Rainbow Rowell casually wrote one of the best gothic romance-style declarations of love of all time

I tried my bestest to be as accurate as possible but I did took some ✨creative liberties✨ and now i can ramble about them! my fav might be Baz's wand, adding pretty carving and flowers (i looooooove lily of the valley) to the hilt just felt right to me, like Baz is so pretty, he needs to have pretty thigns! And Simon's wand, like, it creates chaos when he uses it so u know, smoke and cracks also felt fitting 😌 Another head-cannon I have is that Baz might have two double sets of fangs just because it looks cool sorry not sorry. There's a few more items that i played with the colours so they would fit better.

The first thing he said was “… thats not going up on the wall” (for context he wants to print some of my drawings out and hang them on the walls, which i think is very adorable of him)
