It’s as if she took a sledge to the last of his defenses. Cullen rushes forward, his lips nearly bouncing off of hers as she meets him. Even with the help of steadying hands, it’s as chaste and ungainly as he feared it would be. With a smack of lips he pulls back. “Sorry. Sorry.” Rose looks stunned, her eyes as round as moons, her glossy lips agape. “I should have asked,” he flounders. But she only shakes her head, clasps his face in her hands and reminds him how it’s done. He melts into her mouth, into her softness, fingers into hair, breath to breath, head swimming like he’s halfway through a demijohn of sacramental wine. “You should probably— get to whatever it was— you were going to do—” He mutters between kisses. “Funny thing, you’re actually my entire agenda this morning,” she answers, drawing genuine laughter from his chest. His lungs ache as he suppresses it. “We’ll wake someone,” he argues, his smile insubordinate. Inches away the wry glint in her eye looks like sparks. “Then shut me up.” “I— all right.”

thinking about cullavellan,,,

I think this moment happens at night in Skyhold when a restless Cullen finds Ali sleeping at her desk after a particularly hard mission. You cant see it, but Ali’s about to wake up and slap him (partly bc shes startled, partly bc its Cullen lol)

While drawing I was pondering how they got into this situation.. possibly their first kisses outside the Herald’s Rest after a long evening of drinking

However I'm also certain that everyone would immediately find out when Cullen starts demanding the location of his wife to every bewildered person at the Winter Palace when the dead Qunari is found and she leaves the meeting.
