Elle: So there’s this man just walking his dog in the pet store.

Elle: That’s weird right? I feel like I can’t move from the rodent area. I’m actually terrified.

Elle: I forgot how many people just have dogs here.

Dana: Why is it weird? I am confused, like thats a normal thing to do right? Like its a pet store and a dog is a pet. 

Okay, so since nobody’s brought it up yet I guess I’ll start the conversation – yes, my birthday is Saturday, no gifts are not expected but are encouraged (gift receipts pls!!), YES I do need a date so, like, if there are any eligible bachelors out there who know how to have a good time… reply with where you’d take me for dinner. 

As for everyone else!! I’m thinking bank Saturday night. Bring money for drinks please!!! 

BIRTHDAY! Time to party right? I will get you something beautiful that  iam sure you’re going to love.

Is the bar burning down like an actual worry?

Well if it burnt down I would be without a job for a while or even longer. Oh well they joked aroudn with me before that they burnt the bar down so it is kind of.

That is very exciting! I could imagine it would be nice to get back into that routine. Is there anything in particular you are looking forward to? I’d imagine there would be quite a few amusing aspects to working at a bar. 

I cannot wait to get back, its been a long while and I don’t know how much I love not being there. Just getting back there, seeing the regulars and havign a bit of normality back.

Which is something I still don’t get but to each their own. 

I think I have a song picked out and I have to go up to the school tomorrow to rehearse some. Apparently I am also singing with the top female singer in our class, so that’s cool. I can basically already sing the song I chose, huge fan of it. 

What song is it you have picked? Oh that sounds awesome. Good Luck or break a leg whatever you say to performers.

Ahhhh it’s time for back to work already?? Man, time flies when they’re tiny, doesn’t it?

Yeah well only two days a week because I really can’t do full time or any other time yet. It really does. I don’t know if I like how fast it’s going. 

Leah: Oh wow. Really?

Elle: No problem. I spent all day yesterday trying to unpack while a toddler run wild in the house anyway, aha.

Elle: Sunday sounds wonderful!

Elle: How's the new baby and new mommy doing, by the way?

Dana: that sounds very fun and difficult but I bet its worth it.

Dana: awesome, looking forward to seeing you.

Dan: How's life treating you, momma?

Dana: Oh Hey, long time no speak. Life is treating me pretty great, Cali is nearly 2 months old and she is just growing to be the most adorable little girl, so I am very blessed.

Elle: Hey!

Elle: Julia has been bugging me all morning about coming around to see you and Calliope. I think that's the only reason she didn't kick up a fuss on the plane, aha.

Elle: Are you busy today?

Dana: Hey! Sorry for the late reply, I hadn't looked at my phone.

Leah: Sounds like Charlie needs to pick up some of the slack at night so you can sleep.

Leah: I mean, true. But decent sleep is better.

Thanks! I don’t know yet, I will probably be thinking and trying to find the perfect song until like 3 days before the actual event. Super professional of me. 

Oh really? Well I am not a fan of musicals so unfortunately I can’t get into it.
