I’m surprised no one has mentioned this already, so I will.
I’ve been observing all the popular fandoms on Tumblr lately, and I’ve noticed they all have “ask blogs”, “rp blogs”, “official blogs”, and the like for their muses, which are characters- mostly canon but can be OCs sometimes- from their respective series.
Then I look back at the Pirate101 and Wizard101 fandoms, and see we are distinctly lacking in all of these. And I can’t help but wonder “why?” What’s preventing us from showing the canon characters as much love as other fandoms show theirs?
It’s not too late for us to start. Our fandoms are not completely dead yet, though we are in much fewer numbers. We have the skill, however, and the dedication to make it work.
I ask that you share this as far as you can, so the whole of the Pirate101 and Wizard101 fandoms can hear and join in on this. We need anyone and everyone for this to work.
