Hiei?! There was no mistaking that short stature and hair anywhere. It had been some time since Kazuma had seen the little jerk and he really didn’t look any differently. Not even grown an inch. Really, Kazuma was happy to see him. He liked Hiei despite how much of a sourpuss he could be.Of course, he couldn’t show the angry little demon that.

     ❝ yes. i always have been able to. not just humans. animals. anything         in between. if it is big enough, and alive, i can see it even through         objects, if close enough. ❞

that was a first! questioning if she was human. she would give a brief nod, bouncing place. seems she has a lot of excess energy.

     ❝ i am 100% human, yes. ❞

Well he didn’t expect to hear she was human but he doesn't look very surprised to be wrong. He was a bit of an unusual human himself, but he doesn't go parading that around.

     ❝ only sorta. i can just see a life force over there. a humans life force.         their AURA. ❞

she loved catching people off guard with that little trick of hers. she would stuff her hands into her pockets, rocking back and forth on her heels.

     ❝ if you don’t believe me, go and look for yourself. ❞

“You can see a human’s life force?” He questions. That seemed like a weird ability. If she saw a life force, was she able to see when it was dwindling?

» “If that’s what you’d like me to believe…” Tamamo tilted his head when the other brought up this “Eikichi” and raised his brows, a bit startled at how worked up Kazuma was. Two brief blinks then his face softened to a pleased smile.

“She is quite adorable. That bow fits her perfectly. I’m safe to assume she’s your cat, correct? I never would’ve guessed you were the owner of such an adorable pet.”

Kazuma is always proud to show of his cat, and that pride grew when people complimented her. He holds his cat securely but then takes a little offence to the comment.

Why did cats hate her? They were so soft and cute but whenever she got close they always ran away. So when a cute little tabby comes darting forward her heart nearly leaps out of her chest! Was this it? Is this finally the day she’ll make friends with a cat? Oh—No they were running away. 

Looks like she still can’t make friends with cats quite yet.

“A-Ah sorry you ok? I didn’t mean to scare yer cat, they don’t really like for some reason… “

As he holds Eikichi, she scurries a little bit more until knocking herself loose from Kazuma’s hand. Instead of running this time, she jumps into his lap and wiggles under his shirt. That really was a strange reaction. Kazuma grits his teeth as a claw scratches his stomach then he gets up and supports the cat under his shirt with an arm.
