the degree to which knowing and articulating your limits as a disabled person is treated as selfish self-victimization is so frustrating, because ignoring them and choosing to power through will inevitably lead to even further disabling effects. this idea that it’s morally reprehensible to ever acknowledge that there are limits to your self sufficiency is actively harmful and i hate it!
