“A…mission?” Yuuna replied, her head tilting to the side in slight confusion. “What kind of mission? Maybe I could help?” She had heard of things happening to the north, although she couldn’t think where they could have appeared from, or why they were happening in the first place.. Some people thought they would come as far as this town, though it wasn’t something Yuuna wanted to find out herself.

her disposition changed in an instant. she REFUSED to let someone outside of the corps to accompany her on a mission. she will not be responsible for an innocents life getting taken on her watch. she couldn’t bare that. she would absolutely lose it! 

His response is probably as would be expected from him. “I do it whether they underestimate me or not! I’ll fight anybody who’s strong!”

There’s a pause while the glow of gloating fades from around Inosuke’s body. “Hey.” He suddenly is talking normally. “I still haven’t seen your breathing technique. When are we gonna go find a demon to slay?”

eveona is always eager to show her breathing technique off. she spent a good while perfecting it and truly making it her own. it’s something to be proud of, for the girl. so when he expresses this curiosity, she is quick to grab the teens hand and tug him along. wow. she runs fast.

Truth be told, Guren wasn’t really trying to hide his white lie. Once his newly appointed comrade started to make her was the raven-haired male followed suit.

For a split second his eyes fooled him, seeing ghosts, perhaps at the cause of heavy exhaustion; it’s embarrassing, regardless. Even if his cheeks don’t flush. Retreating just as fast, he tilts his head, still with a tinge of doubt on deadpan features.

Ulquiorra watching her, he noticed she looked strange. His head tilt a little in a moment of curiosity toward the look she was giving him. Of course, he had thought Aizen’s plans were the most important to secure than some demon a random woman had been hunting. He thought that it was perhaps idiotic to even be hunting a demon. It clearly wasn’t doing anything wrong, or someone would have already found and gotten rid of it. So therefore, her reason for being here was beginning to seem pointless. But still his curiosity let her continue, for now. Walking after her he turned his head away, staring off into the distance as she spoke “ How does a human end up hunting demons? What makes you want to hunt them? Why do you feel the need to? Perhaps one kills you, wouldn’t it all be meaningless, then?”

she is not obligated to give her story to him. after all, she would probably never see him again after this. though, thinking about one of them ending her, it just wasn’t a thought she had too often despite her circumstances.  though, in the back of her head, she was certain that was going to be her demise. death by demon. as most people in this profession go out the same way.
