hey yall its your trusty neighborhood mod @flygutzz :DDD no i am not late!!! Me, Nort, and a couple of our "Stars" wanna thank everyone for sticking with us for a whole year now! and to those who have just recently joined us, thank you also for joining us whenever you can!!!

I'm not as good with my words as Nort so along with their whole speech, all I can say is: DITTO!

I've translated the entire comic, now the dialogues are translated into English at the end of each post. I know it might not be the most comfortable way to read it (specially cuz the first post have a lot of text), but it's something, right?

The oficial language of the comic is still spanish tho, but i hope that this whole work of translate the +50 posts is worthwhile for those who do not speak the language, hope u enjoy!✨

was it for the affections of the person the dog was waiting for or simply for the food? (at least that’s the boiled down version of all that joshua says). and that tidbit he talks about converges with my thoughts of neku’s love for joshua being waiting, and his intentions of choosing joshua over shibuya all the time.

of course neku’s actions can simply be that, just his affections for joshua as a friend who understands him, but it’s still fun to explore it deeper.

does neku extend the invitation and wait for joshua for joshua’s sake or his own? can neku’s actions towards joshua in the final duel count as him choosing joshua for the sake of joshua or himself being unable to part with the person that understands him for once? <- furthering that (bc ofc neku choosing joshua falls back on his lesson of trust his partner as well) does that intentions matter? idk if i’m explaining my thoughts well, but I feel extreme crazy about it nonetheless!

neku’s actions can be seen both as selfless and selfish at the same time. it’s so interesting. does neku want joshua in his life for the sake of ending joshua’s loneliness and making josh happy, or for the sake of keeping joshua by his side? you can’t really subtract the kindness from the selfishness of it and vice versa…

same on joshua’s end; he selfishly decides on neku’s behalf that they’re better apart, but you can’t subtract the clear protectiveness that comes from joshua doing such a cruel and selfish action. at the same time it’s still joshua also being selfless in his eyes, even if that’s mixed with his own fears & isolation, ‘this is for neku’s sake of keeping him separate from the UG & higher planes.’ I like the dynamic of it, the push and pull of it all.

YOU SCUMBAG! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!? I WANT A FULL WRITTEN EXPLANATION AND APOLOGY YESTERDAY!

And now that he’s finally here, he’s doing… Nothing…

Joshua really just rolled up and said “I’m here to observe your plan and chew bubblegum, and I think I still have some bubblegum.”

It’s nice to know that after spending the whole game apparently doing nothing while his city falls apart, Joshua decides in the end to finally reveal himself so that he can do nothing in person! Truly, he is a character in this game.

Ack, I’ll cut him some slack. His timing is no coincidence, after all. He appears to be doing nothing, but he showed up right when Neku was struggling to maintain his power to lend a hand, something Neku immediately is able to handle much better. I also really like Josh’s self-awarness about the little “reunion” taking place here. Good grief, I can’t believe he’s just calling me out for mentioning his lack of presence earlier. Neku and Beat can obviously see him, but I wonder if Rhyme and Shiki can too.

And Neku, his reaction here is so interesting! He’s clearly surprised to see him and there’s probably still a few issues between the two of them, but evidently, Neku still trusts him. It’s got to be their first time seeing each other in so long! I can’t imagine how they currently view each other, but this seems like a positive step forward!
